How to Spa

Will my spa membership be good for any service?
Spa memberships can be upgraded with a discount for services other than those included in the membership offer. For example, memberships include a one hour swedish massage or ART Young LIving or Eminence Facial per month. If you would like a different facial or massage an additional charge above the monthly membership fee will be added at the time of check out for your service.

Who will help me to decide how to choose my treatments?
Our Spa receptionists will help you plan the perfect spa experience, including the best sequence for your treatments. In addition, our wellness and spa specialists can also assist you.

What if I have special health considerations?
Please notify a Spa receptionist before booking your treatments if you have high blood pressure, allergies, other physical ailments or disabilities, or if you are pregnant. All spa guests will be asked to complete a brief medical questionnaire upon check-in, designed with your well being in mind.

May I request a male or female?
Yes, of course, but we cannot guarantee the availability of a particular therapist or gender. Whether you choose a person of the same or opposite gender, all of our therapists are trained to drape sheets discreetly over areas of the body not involved with the treatment. We respect and protect your privacy at all times.

What do I wear during my treatments?
Most body treatments are enjoyed without clothing. Undergarments may be worn if preferred. Most importantly, wear what is comfortable for you.

What about my comfort?
This is your time and you should delight in the experience to the fullest. Whether it's the room temperature, the amount of massage pressure, or the volume of the music...just tell us and we will accommodate you.

What about my jewelry and valuables?
Please leave items at home or keep them in your personal possession while at the spa. Body of Truth does not assume any liability for personal items.

Is there a minimum age?
All spa guests must be at least 16 years of age or accompanied by a parent in the treatment rooms.

Should men shave before a facial?
Shaving is not necessary but it is recommended. If you shave prior to your facial, be sure to do so at least two (2) hours prior to your scheduled appointment.

Is it okay to eat before my treatment(s)?
Eating lightly is a great idea before a treatment. It will allow you to completely relax and enjoy the treatment without being distracted by your talking stomach. A heavy meal however, can interfere with your comfort levels.

Is it okay to drink before my treatment(s)?
It is very important that you drink WATER before and after all treatments. Body of Truth uses purely organic products for our services and it acts like food in your body. Therefore, you need water to process it and have the most beneficial effects. It is not recommended that a guest consume alcoholic beverages before receiving treatments. Guests who are scheduled for Aromatherapy Baths will not be permitted to use the bath if they are under the influence of alcohol.

What if I'm late for my appointment?
Arriving late will simply limit the time for your treatment, potentially reducing its effectiveness and your pleasure. Your treatment will end on time so that the next guest is not delayed.

What about gratuities?
Gratuities are discretionary. The normal gratuity is 15% to 20% per service.

What about payment for spa services?
We accept all major credit cards, cash, checks and traveler's checks.

When should I get to the Spa?
Plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to your first service in order to relax and enjoy our luxurious facilities and amenities.

Do you offer group or special event packages?
Yes! Body of Truth can accommodate many different types of group sizes and group requests. While some of our locations are better suited for certain events, we can accommodate your special needs at all locations. Cancellation policy:
For single treatments, please cancel services 24 hours in advance. For multiple treatments please cancel 72 hours in advance. We request that group packages be cancelled one week in advance. Due to the commitments we must make to our practitioners, we must charge in full for all treatments not cancelled according to our guidelines.
